Johns Island SC is a large, rural island near Downtown Charleston, SC. With the addition of a new water main in 2005, the area opened itself up to developers and now offers a variety of condos and townhouses for sale. This area can be very convenient to Downtown Charleston, the airport and Boeing Charleston depending on where you choose to buy a home. Johns Island being the second largest island on the East Coast can also put you far out into the country if you like.
