Foreclosures on the Beach in Charleston
Bank owned and foreclosure properties are not very prominent on Folly Beach, Edisto Beach, Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, but can be found on occasion. The real estate market along the beaches reached significant heights in the booming time of 2005 and 2006. Beach house values raised considerably during that time period. When the market shifted, it caused the Charleston real estate market to correct itself. The properties featured here are all of the bank owned and foreclosure properties available on the barrier islands and beaches surrounding the Charleston, Tri-County area.
