Mixson Market: Opened in October 2012, Mixson Market offers curated goods and quality provisions. The first shop of its kind in the area, the Market features gourmet coffee, artisanal sandwiches, craft beer and select wine as well as creative housewares and gifts.
Mixson Bath & Racquet Club: Breaking ground in late 2012, the Mixson Bath & Racquet Club is a swim and social club with a full-service restaurant, a yoga and wellness center, bocce courts and event space. Membership is available to Mixson residents as well as non-residents, and the restaurant will also be open to the public. This family-friendly Club will feature a 3,000 square-foot heated, saltwater pool, changing facilities with showers and lockers and a screened porch and private cabanas available for daily rental or event use.
The Barn: Serving as a central anchor of community life, The Barn at Mixson is a refreshing, open-air event space and amenity for residents that can also be rented for special occasions.
Information About the Houses Planned:
- This will not be the typical "cookie cutter" neighborhood. Many builders have approached the developers in the past to buy and mass produce. In an effort to provide the best atmosphere for you and your family, the developers felt that they should keep control of the project in an effort to make it a special offering not found in such an easily accessible price point.
- The homes will range in size starting in the 1500 sqft range and will most likely be kept under 2000 sqft with flex/bonus space that can be modified to fit your needs. (Many will feature space for in law-suites, home offices etc.) We are glad to provide these high quality "green featured homes" at an affordable range (around the $170/ sqft mark), with an aim to provide quality features, a non traditional "modern neighborhood" with a focus on street scape, design, charm and with offerings that will reflect an individual's styles and tastes.
- Outdoor space will be found not only in the village atmosphere, but in the porches and side yard offerings as well.
