Old Mount Pleasant offers a much more affordable to it’s Old Village neighbor, and still enjoys many of the same benefits as well. It is also one of the areas oldest neighborhoods and started to develop in the late 1950’s and well into the 1960’s.

One of the driving factors for the area is the location. Close to Coleman Boulevard and nestled between McCants and Center Street, the house styles are primarily ranch and some two story homes as well. A few streets have more cottage type properties and occasionally new construction properties will arise.

There are two primary benefits to living in this neighborhood. The easy access to Mt Pleasant Academy and Moultrie Middle School, and  better yet, a 15 minute bike ride to nearby the beach at Sullivan’s Island.
