Sure, house styles in Charleston SC have changed over time, and the change from the 1960’s rancher, to the 1970’s retro feel, into the 1980 contemporaries and on up until present day are the easiest to see as you are driving through an area, but what about things that happen in people’s back yards?

Homes in Charleston SC - It is easy being green.Well, I thought I knew what "being green" was. I really did. Of course the definition for me has changed over time and I am sure it has for many.  

At one time in my career, “being green” meant that I had little to no experience. That everything was new. And that I knew very little when it came to selling homes in Charleston, SC. Of course, I was “green” back in 1995.  Everyone has to start somewhere when it comes to a new career.

Charleston South Carolina Homes - Let's Hug a TreeI started looking at Charleston South Carolina Homes for signs of green living and at first glance, they are sort of hard to spot. Knowing that Charleston is a forward-thinking politically correct place, I knew I was not overlooking the green aspects of the community, and that somehow, amidst years of media attention, that the environment has to be making it’s way to the forefront of the real estate world.
