South Windermere is a fantastic neighborhood very close to Downtown Charleston. It has a very charming, "Beaver Cleaver" feel and oozes charm. It also has a mix of later period ranch style homes as well.
Being one of the first neighborhoods to develop outside of Downtown Charleston, it is a hub of activity for young and old due to it's close proximity to the popular South Windermere Shopping Center.
Generally, the prices in the neighborhood range from $300,000 to $500,000 but there are areas in the back of the neighborhood and on the water that can run as high as $3,000,000.
