Hi, I am Nat Wallen. I have enjoyed living in Charleston, SC my entire life. I do not necessarily have a Charleston accent and when I meet people, many ask why I do not sound Southern. I attribute it to my grandparents moving from Greenwich Connecticut in the late 1940’s to a horse and cattle farm on the tip of Wadmalaw Island called Selkirk Plantation.
Growing up on a farm gave me the ability to have a balanced childhood by splitting my time between the country and town. Living on the farm on weekends and during the summer, while also maintaining a more normal life growing up in various neighborhoods, was the best of both worlds.
I met Hattie Kronsberg in 1997 and we were married in 2002. We had our first little girl in 2004 and our second little girl 2007. We live in a mature West Ashley neighborhood along the banks of the Ashley River and feel fortunate to have so many young friends as neighbors, as well as a group of older residents we have come to really like by meeting them on our family evening walks.

Wando High School - Graduate 1989 / College of Charleston - Bachelor’s Degree - 1994
With a history of being a self starter and an entrepreneur in high school, my successful career in real estate began as soon as I graduated from College. My strong organizational skills and goal oriented drive to succeed prompted me to build a system that allowed me to start from selling zero homes to quickly becoming the Top Real Estate agent in my company of over 1000 agents. Additionally, I have been within the top 5 consistently in my marketplace of nearly 6000 agents and within the top 1% of real estate sales professionals across the United States.
ContributorMajor contributor to office sales volume since 2001.
Frequently leads office meetings and points of discussion on the market.
Recognized for my keen ability and desire to share my experiences with others, I have been fortunate to have trained agents on a variety of professional skills including: time management, scripts, dialogues and closing techniques. I have paneled several regional and national coaching events and have enjoyed the opportunities to help many agents obtain financial independence and sharpen their skills.
Being in Charleston my entire life, I have an extensive and intimate knowledge of the neighborhoods, schools and quality of life that each area in Charleston has to offer. I will be able to easily contrast and compare with buyers that are considering your home’s subdivision to others and point out many things that other non-local agents will be able to comment on, like growth patterns over time and traffic bottlenecks. I also have many great local connections so the transaction will be consummated efficiently and on time due to the trust and communication developed over the years with local lenders, attorneys and inspectors. Lastly, I live life by the golden rule. With a calming demeanor and the ability to effectively listen to both a buyer and seller’s concerns, I am able to overcome challenges that arise with real estate transactions necessary to have a successful closing.
