Hollywood and Ravenel Homes

Hollywood and Ravenel HomesThe rural area south of Charleston found south along highway 17 features a cluster of communities called Hollywood, Ravenel and Meggett. This area is very rural in nature and the Hollywood and Ravenel homes are very similar to the properties found on Johns Island and Wadmalaw.

If you are a homeowner and consider selling, when researching the values for these Hollywood and Ravenel homes, many times it is good to look for comparable properties in the neighboring Johns Island and Wadmalaw Island since they are so very similar in country styles and settings.

Geographically, this is a large area with the main commercial properties located along Highway 162 and Highway 17 South. The country atmosphere features affordable Hollywood and Ravenel homes that can start in the low $100,000s and can move up in price as the homes become larger and the lots become more desirable.

If you are looking for townhouses and condominiums in this area, you will not find many amongst this group of Hollywood, Ravenel and Meggett homes, as the rural nature of the area does not lend itself well to these types of developments.

Many of the Hollywood and Ravenel homes available have shallow and deep wells for water sources and will need to build a septic system when building. While this is not the case for all properties, many of the more rural locations do not have piped in water and sewer. For this reason it is important to obtain perk tests here necessary when purchasing property to build Hollywood and Ravenel homes. It is also a good idea to find out if the area features high speed internet and even trash pickup.

While it is easy to find affordable housing in this area, the area also has access to some of the best waterfront options available and deep water Hollywood and Ravenel homes can be expensive, yet seem discounted compared to other areas that have the same size waterfront homes on the market.

Stono Ferry is a very unique neighborhood for the area. It is very much a traditional neighborhood is house style, with brick traditionals and raised low country homes. The center of the neighborhood is a steeple track, where the yearly horse races known as the Charleston Cup brings a group of people together together to watch the race and to celebrate the sport. Stono Ferry offers the only townhouses style Hollywood and Ravenel homes and the neighborhood also offers some of the best waterfront opportunities along the Intracoastal Waterway.

You were very honest, direct and I knew you were genuine when you talked us out of buying a house because of the location. Thanks for everything!. Kirk Matenaer

I commend you particularly for politely putting up with my sometimes cantankerous, if not outright offensive, goading for results; I now realize I was in excellent hands all along, and I could not have asked for better or more courteous direction in the whole process. Dr. Adam Smolka

Your research and explanation of the entire process left us feeling confident in your abilities to follow through and get the deal done like it should be. Bill Chakos

Your experience, your calming demeanor and your ability to consult us in such a streamlined fashion was invaluable. Tonya Chakos

We sincerely believe Nat's competence, hard work, attention to detail, and most important his immediate action were the reasons our home sold in one day. We are now able to make plans to relocate. Victoria and Daniel Doyle
